Pat is an Oklahoman through and through. Born and raised in the Sooner State, he graduated from high school in Tulsa before heading to the University of Oklahoma. He excelled academically, earning his undergraduate degree with Special Distinction and later obtaining his law degree from the University of Oklahoma School of Law.
While building his legal career, Pat was also building a life with his high school sweetheart. He and his wife married in 1975, and together they raised three adult sons. Today, they are the proud grandparents of five grandchildren.
Family is the heartbeat of Carr & Carr. In fact, the firm started as a father-and-son venture. Pat and his father, Eugene, founded the practice in 1973, working side by side until Eugene passed away in 1992. Pat managed the firm as a sole proprietorship for years, keeping his father’s vision alive. In 2010, the family tradition continued when Pat’s son, Michael, joined the firm, eventually becoming a partner.

Pat served his country and state in the Oklahoma Army National Guard, working his way up from an enlisted man to an infantry platoon leader and station commander. He also served as an officer in a Civil Affairs unit for the United States Army Reserves. Outside the office and the military, Pat has always been an athlete. In school, he played tennis and ran cross country. Today, he channels that energy into long-distance running, having completed marathons in Oklahoma, California, and Texas.
